Paddling lots, carrying a canoe with a partner, being on lakes for most of the day, and hiking in between. Camping under the stars, eating dinner by the campfire, and sharing close connections with good humans and great stories and real vulnerability. Fully peer-assisted and hosted by your fellow EO Members.

When your application is approved, you will be required to pay a deposit of $800. As this is a cost recovery program (there is no surplus and no pay to facilitators), we will do a final billing once total trip costs are determined. The total cost of the trip will not exceed $2,000 per person (which includes the pre-paid deposit).

While all of the exercises that we will engage in are not new to us, we haven’t brought it all together on a wilderness expedition before. We hope to learn alongside the participants as we go through the adventure together.
The price of the program is set to cover pass through costs only (transport, gear, food, etc) and none of the leading/hosting team are compensated financially.

Mentally prepare for an intense five days of learning, discovering, exploring, and fully living in the outdoors with a group of people you may not intimately know.

You will need the clothing and sleeping gear to keep you warm and dry. It is the west coast. It can be lovely and it can be fierce. We will send you a comprehensive list of recommended and required gear. Whatever gear you don’t have, we’ll help you procure!

While spring weather can be great, it’s called a rainforest for a reason. We will have rain gear and shelters and will do our best to stay warm and dry. That said, if winds exceed our safety margins for being out in canoes, the routes has fantastic access to a network of wilderness roads via which we can escape/make progress.

We will gather your allergies, dietary accommodations ahead of time and we will be taking care of all the meal prep, the cooking, and the entertainment. Be prepared to be amazed by the culinary talents of your guides!

Check in with your guides and share your previous injury so they can properly assess your abilities before confirming your registration.

Yes. Once your registration is confirmed, you will have to read, understand and sign the EOVI Member Connect waiver (a link to it will be sent to you via email). You will also have to fill out a pre-trip questionnaire that gives us emergency contact, allergy or any other health related information that is important for us to have with us as a team.

We understand that best laid plans don’t always work out. If you need to cancel, please contact us as there may be a possibility we can sell your ticket to someone on the waitlist.
